Gaslighting Hal

[mp3]

Two sordid tales of misplaced trust set against each other like LP's spun by a frantic robot DJ. In Kubrick's, we trust the utopian machine, exemplified by the Bell Telephone Labs 1963 promo on computer speech (courtesy of The 365 Days Project). In Fagen and Becker's, Abbie trusts the scheming first and second person protagonists who are about to unravel her summer and who knows what else.
Tools: Supercollider, Acid.
