Replacing the Pool Liner: Day 2
As the liner is stripped away the extent of the rust damage becomes clear. Here's a picture from day 2 (June 6, 2001):

The workers cut around return lines and the skimmer. The real mystery to me about how they do this is: how do they know where to cut the holes for the return lines once the new liner is installed? Answer: it's vynil; you can feel bumps through it.
